Last of The Real Estate
A Cooperative Arts and Music Label
Funding Intentional Community and Recovery Efforts

Our Mission
At Last of the Real Estate, our mission is to build a cooperative arts and music label that funds the development of an intentional, sustainable community. We aim to support creativity, recovery, and self-sufficiency by creating a space where artists, musicians, builders, growers, tech workers, caregivers, and visionaries can come together to live, work, and create.
We’re already taking steps releasing albums, completing collaborative projects, and supporting people in recovery, those getting back on their feet, and others seeking alternative lifestyles while working toward acquiring land to grow this vision. Our goal is a place where contributions from art, music, and shared effort fund life itself, creating a cooperative ecosystem that benefits everyone involved.
Many people want to live intentionally but face financial barriers, limited work opportunities, or restrictive systems. Those who wish to grow food, build, create, or pursue recovery outside conventional settings often can’t fully engage because of startup costs or lack of support. By using our label as a funding and distribution hub, art and music can serve as a catalyst for creating real-world resources, allowing contributors to sustain themselves while building community.
We are actively seeking people who understand and align with this vision. Early supporters, collaborators, and creators help shape who joins the label, how the community grows, and what opportunities we create together. Your participation helps establish a strong foundation so that when land and space are ready, it is backed by a committed, like-minded community.
Through subscriptions, creative contributions, and sharing our work, you can help make this vision real
“”Caring for one another, nurturing our community, and tending the land through our own creative ways should not simply be part of our lives, but the very foundation and way of our lives.””
At Last of the Real Estate, we imagine a future where people can live intentionally without being limited by wealth, location, or conventional systems. Many who want to grow food, build, create, or pursue recovery outside traditional frameworks are often blocked by financial constraints, limited work opportunities, or the practicalities of daily life.
We believe there is another way: a community built from the ground up, rooted in creativity, collaboration, and shared responsibility, where art and music are not just expressions but tools—catalysts—to fund life itself. The label becomes a hub, distributing work, supporting creators, and generating resources that allow people to contribute meaningfully while sustaining themselves.
We see the possibilities:
- Musicians, artists, writers, and tech creatives collaborating in a cooperative, supportive environment
- Builders, growers, and caregivers shaping a place where the land and its people thrive together
- People in recovery finding ways to live fully, engage with others, and build purpose without judgment
- A living model where small groups can demonstrate how intentional, sustainable communities can flourish
This is not a blueprint of what exists now, but a grounded vision of what can be: a place where contributions of time, creativity, and care compound to create real-life sustainability. Where shared effort and cooperative principles allow the community to grow, adapt, and support its members.
We aim for sustainability first. Everything beyond that—prosperity, creative abundance, and collective growth—is possible when people come together intentionally.
Our Commitment
The founders of Last of the Real Estate have invested their own resources, time, and creative work to lay the foundation for this vision. We are personally accountable to this mission and to the people who join us. This is not just a concept—it is a commitment to creating something tangible, sustainable, and meaningful for those who want to live, create, and grow together.

Church Searcher, a new artist project released through Last of the Real Estate Arts & Music Cooperative.
Church Searcher does not maintain a separate artist page. The project exists entirely within the cooperative—by design. It is not an AI artist and not an anonymous gimmick, but a human-made work presented through an intentionally invisible identity. The focus stays on the music, the collaborators, and the systems the art helps sustain, rather than on an individual persona.
This album is electronic and experimental, functioning both as a standalone record and as the soundtrack to a short film releasing soon. Together, they form part of a broader narrative unfolding across releases, visuals, and live work.
A minimum of 50% of proceeds from this release will support breast cancer research and related services, in memory of Jael Strauss. The remaining proceeds are reinvested into Last of the Real Estate, funding future releases, community development, and recovery-centered creative projects.
This release also marks an expansion of the cooperative’s catalog. Subscribing through our website costs the same as purchasing a single album on bandcamp and provides access to all current and future releases, including prior albums from the Geoffrey David artists and upcoming work across the label. Subscriptions are the primary way this ecosystem remains sustainable.
This is how the model works:
art generates resources,
resources support people,
people build community,
community makes more art.
Mickee Mickee Mouse Crustacean is part of that cycle.

Join the Last of the Real Estate Community
At Last of the Real Estate, our mission is to support and grow a conscious, creative, and cooperative community. Every subscriber helps us nurture artists, build meaningful connections, and create a space that fosters recovery, personal growth, and collaboration — both online and in the real world. This isn’t just about music; it’s about living in alignment with our values, caring for the land, supporting one another, and exploring our creative potential together.
By subscribing directly through this website, you help us fund the label, the community, and real-world initiatives — including musical releases, merchandise, land acquisition, infrastructure, garden spaces, and recovery-supporting programs. Every contribution, at every level, makes a real difference.
Our vision is to grow this into a cooperative model, where subscribers, artists, and community members share in the benefits and decisions as we expand. For now, subscriptions allow us to support artists, maintain creative spaces, and build the foundation of a real-world cooperative community.
